2025 Oakley & Champ Litter is Here!
We are pleased to offer an amazing litter of puppies coming from two proven field lines. This litter of 11 puppies total (6 male, 5 female) was welcomed Sep 12, 2025 and will be ready for their forever homes by November 7, 2025. Dam (Oakley) and Sire (Champ) were intentionally paired for their desirable appearance, athletic aptitude, solid pedigree, multiple AKC Titles, and excellent health (including all OFA certifications and a low coefficient of inbreeding).
The Dam:
Shaffer Gunsight’s Annie Oakley JH, “Oakley” is our do it all Golden girl. She is a loyal, intelligent, driven and loving companion that has performed well in obedience training and field training. She has completed her AKC Junior Hunter title and has been accompanying her family on bird hunts. she has a wonderful thick coat that comes from the show lines in her pedigree and she is a darker golden. As Oakley has matured, her frame developed into a great size for field work (55-60lbs). She has had all of her health checks (PennHip: Good {lower coefficient for goldens} OFA: Elbows, heart & Eyes - Normal / DNA Clear: PRA 1&2, ICH 1&2, DM, prcd-PRA).
The Sire:
Champers Vi of Wm Farms MH, “Champ” is a very accomplished hunt test dog achieving his AKC Master Hunter Title and 13 total Master Passes. He is also very proven on the actual hunt. Champ has an excellent mix of drive and intelligence yet is amazing in the home and around family. He has a darker red coat and a true field line physique. He has also completed proper health testing (OFA: Hips - Good Elbows, Heart - Normal / DNA Clear: PRA 1&2, ICH 2, DM, prcd-PRA / DNA Carrier: ICH 1)

These field goldens will have beautiful thick coats ranging in color from two pups showing medium golden tones with a majority showing darker golden. The puppies are perfect for someone seeking an intelligent, even-tempered, and loyal companion that is field-capable for activities such as hunting, hiking, or service, while also making a steadfast family friend and pet.
We are offering this litter with both limited registration $2000 and full registration $3000. When they are ready to go home they will have their vet checks, de-wormer, first immunization, DNA panel, AKC registration, and a puppy kit. Puppies are currently being loved by Oakley and our family at our home in the mountains of Idaho, nestled at the foot of Gunsight Peak. They are being tenderly socialized and will be provided early exposure to upland bird and water fowl.
We are currently taking $500 deposits for this litter.

Feeding and Immunizations.
